Has the Masters ever been this easy scoring for a round?

Three golfers shot 65.

Two shot 66.

Four shot 67.

10% were at least -5 for the 1st round, including X-man once again at -5.

We had to have a service come out to check our modem. It stopped working on Wednesday morning and we’ve been without internet at home since then. I stayed home today to be here for him since my wife doesn’t especially like dealing with service people. Got everything fixed and I’ve been dialed in to ESPN since I woke up.

and I haven’t even mentioned that Mrs. tank was in a particularly frisky mood this morning.

the leaders are at -9 as they head into the weekend. i don't know that anyone that still needs to finish their second round will threaten that without a serious run saturday morning, but i could be wrong.

pulling for DJ. he's been so good for so long and i'd like to see him win this.

good to see DJ finally break through and win at augusta. also the first time he's had a 54 hole lead in a major and held on to win (if my info is correct). and shot a tournament record -20 to beat the old mark held by speith and tiger by two shots. this was a really fun major to watch.

i imagine he's going to have one amazing celebration tonight once the kids go to bed.

meanwhile, dechambeau stunk it up and said he wasn't feeling well. said he'd been wolfing down 5 or 6 protein shakes when he normally take 2-3, and then said his stomach wasn't feeling well.

whatever. he's whiny, and that swing is not sustainable.

several years ago nicklaus made a ten on a hole at the british open. when asked afterwards how he shot a 10, he quipped "i missed a three-footer for 9."
