His 'blue eyes' thing is bullshit.  He's actually doing better during the day. 

 

The biggest thing about his inability to hit lefties this year is that he is completely worthless after the 6th inning even more so than early in the game.

Any other player with these kind of numbers would be DFA'd pronto.

Seem to fair up when the team is facing a lefty starter. 

 

It's getting more and more difficult to maintain some semblance of faith that he's gonna suddenly get better. 

I would imagine he'll improve when he's healthy; probly been playing with pain for a while.
