Army/Navy/Air Force athletes who wish to compete as pros may now do so immediately upon graduation, and have their 5 year military service requirement deferred until they retire from athletics.

Didn't David Robinson get a special deferment, due to being a consensus All-American basketball player for the Naval Academy in the mid 1980s?
