I have no idea how effective MadBum will be in Arizona, but I do like the guy.  I like the reasons he gave for making his decision. I like that he's "old school."  He was such a hoss for SF and he's always had that edge about him that makes him one of those guy you root for.  He's definitely a guy who you take because you have a gut feeling about because the analytics suggest he might be in decline.  He just makes you want to chuck all the data and trust him because of how he carries himself. His 'make-up" makes you want to believe. Maybe that's how some GM's get themselves in trouble... I don't know.

I'll be rooting for him. Anyone who can contribute to taking down the Dodgers is someone worth rooting for.
