Agreed. He also can’t be trusted to stay healthy. Plus he won’t give a team too many innings regardless. Seems like a 5-6 innings per start pitcher on most years.

I’m okay with Ryu  ... he pitched close to 200 innings with a era of 2.32. What’s not to like? I think the Dodgers will sign him.

182.2 innings isn’t really close to 200. And the previous two years he’s averaged under 6 innings per start.

he did 182, which was nearly more than his previous 3 years combined (212).

How does this affect Keuchel and Ryu's asking price? I assume Ryu is expected to get more than Madbum, and Keuchel less?

The options are quickly dwindling, and we still need 2 arms. Keuchel is a must. Teheran is still available too. But that would make for a less than impressive rotation.

He’s a massive injury risk. One we can’t afford to take on. He’s as sure of a bet as Heaney is to land on the IL this season.
