This works for me, though I'd like to keep Sandoval since this org needs as much SP depth possible with their injury histories.

You must have chosen to or forgot to read my further posts where I explain that because of less team control and injury, the price is likely reduced to something around Luis Rengifo and Jordyn Adams. Which is still steep.

Yeah, Sandoval isn’t ideal. Of the current Angels starters I like him third best behind Ohtani and Canning in terms of value over the next few years. Eventually he’ll be surpassed by Soriano and Rodriguez, but for now he’s an important part of the rotation.

It also makes one wonder why the Indians would trade a potential ace on an affordable contract for just Rengifo and Deveaux.
