Stubricks in Fullerton because that was my hometown and I can get my brothers to all agree to show up for dinner and drinks just to talk and be bros every now and then.

Wanting to try some new food spots and looking for ideas or your favorite spots and why.

OC can be kind of a wasteland outside of franchises.i can point out some good ramen places in Costa Mesa though.

I have places I go, but they aren’t really places I would recommend highly.  These places have more nostalgic value to me since I grew up in Anaheim, rather than places that are amazing at what they do. If you like big shredded beef tacos with cheese and lettuce and you have a few dollars burning a hole in your pocket go to Mexi Casa before a game.  It’s a cash only place that is a sit down restaurant where you can feed yourself and a date for about $12.  Momma Cozza’s in Anaheim or Cortina’s in Anaheim are both good.  If you are in the mood for good German food go to Jagerhaus.

Perla's Taqueria in Mission Viejo. Best Mexican food I've had in the county.

I've gone there after you've recommend it on here before. They are legit.

Nice!

A fucking 7 year old recommended it to me. My kid's friend. I went on Taco Tuesday and the line was about 30 deep. Was worth it.

But now I send my wife if we get it on Tuesdays

A broker buddy of mine at the office mentioned this place and said it's solid.

Sweet. I'll check it out next time I'm in the area as my dentist is pretty close. Anything you prefer to try first there?

The thing that I think is really hard to find is outstanding BBQ.  Anyone have any recommendations for that?

Man the past few times I've gotten the carne asada burrito. Everything is excellent. Love the pastor too

There is new brewery close by called Gamecraft Brewing. The actually have decent food there as well. Beers are solid.

Sad nostalgia, Johnny Rebs in Orange was a great southern style place but closed shop about 4 months back.  At least the one in Long Beach is still there.

Roma D’Italia in Tustin has been family owned since 1965, great Italian place.

I stopped in there last September for lunch and parked my Triumph Spitfire out front. It looked like it belonged.
