It’s fair to be a little anxious about the Angels this morning if you happen to give a damn about the team.  So let’s all keep in mind that they haven’t lost Cole yet.  They haven’t lost Strasburg.  They could still swing a trade for a good pitcher.  Let’s get all our stupid pipe dream happy thought scenarios in one place.  And never forget this :

Things are trending in the right direction.

1. The Angels have an actual manager now, not Brad Ausmus. 

2. The Angels went and got the best pitching coach in the business in Mickey Calloway. 

3. The Angels just got Dylan Bundy. That's a guaranteed 165+ innings at the back of the rotation. He's out of the AL East, had wonderful numbers against the West, and will snow be under the tutelage of Calloway. If he was ever going to make good on all that promise, it would be this year, with the Angels.

4. Canning and Ohtani are healthy.

5. Doug White is gone.

6. The Angels have a trio of youngsters in AAA that are only going to get better in Sandoval, Barria and Suarez.

7. Trout, Upton and Simmons are all healthy.

8. Many connected source think Gerrit Cole is coming to Anaheim.
