Trout is awesome. Great season.

But as good as those numbers are.. my favorite is still Bonds in 2004: .362/.602/.812

If you had a baseball player who went 2 for 5 every single game with a single and a homer all year long... they’d still have a lower OPS than Bonds in 2004.

Funny thing is that LeMahieu already ended up higher than he should have precisely *because* he’s a Yankee. If he wasn’t, he would’ve been barely in the top 10.

It wasn’t just the fans ... someone on MLB Network implanted that thought on the air. Actually, LeMahieu had a great season for the Yankees and played multiple positions ... but yea,
