Brings another experienced baseball resume and voice. If I remember correctly he didnt do much in Arizona working with Dave Stewart. 

It couldnt hurt at this point! 

Between the peanuts, 4AAAA players and the glut of middle infielders I hope he can help us in securing some decent collegiate Starting pitchers in the draft from the Southern States and Midwest.

I am completely guessing but this moves suggests that Eppler will be with the Angels for awhile.  It makes sense that Arte is bringing in some established baseball people to support Eppler's learning curve.  Eppler can certainly improve in some GM areas.
