Wish there were some way this forces Harry Reid to resign.  Can't stand him.

The voters would have retired him a couple of years ago had his opponent in the general election not been so batshit crazy. She was so psychotic that Reid even carried counties that always vote heavily Republican.

Thanks, Tea Party.

Nevada, you're telling me there isn't ANYONE better than Sharron Angle to go up against Reid? Like...ANYONE??

Apparently the majority of Republicans thought not.

It's pretty telling when your campaign strategy is not to debate and to make as few public appearances as possible, because your campaign manager is afraid of what you will say. Angle became more and more invisible as the campaign rolled on, and all Reid's people had to do was run footage of things she had already said. Reid went from a campaign on political life support to running on autopilot. Angle held a 14-point lead in the polls immediately after the GOP primary. After people began hearing what she was all about, that went to a seven-point deficit in less than 30 days. I have never seen another campaign turn that dramatically, that quickly. Angle even lost her home county, which almost always votes Republican.

I nominate either Vern or VegasHaloFan.

Funny that you should mention that. At least three friends have told me that I should seek political office. However, to win anything above a local election here you have to be beholden to the casino industry, and I am not one who believes that everything that is good for the casinos is necessarily good for Nevada. Some things are, but they have acted in their own self interest to the detriment of the citizens of this state on several occasions. I could not in good conscience walk in rigid lockstep with the casino owners.

What if they donated $50 mil to your PAC?
