Before they became super lefty, they were a snarky, irreverent, highly entertaining blog. I had never read anything like it, and still haven't now. Remember You're With Me, Leather? Or the investigative piece about the Ohio guy who jacked it in the library? Good god, that was great stuff.

They became much more woke and lefty the last few years. If they are shitting on Trump and magas, why would I care? 

Drew Magary was still very very good. The Haters Guide to the NFL was 32 blogs in August that was like an oasis in the desert, since god knows there was nothing going on in August with the Angels.

It was a go to site for me. I've deleted the bookmarks.

Reminds me of Cracked.com. 

That place used to have some of the funniest and most entertaining articles on the interbuttz. Then it got all up in the SJW/Woke culture hype and it completely turned me off.

Plashke has won multiple national writing awards.  It defies belief.

He wrote a fantastic column one time about the poor Compton girls softball team.  It was sappy and probably half was made up, but it was a darn good "feel good" story. 

That is the only kind of articles Plashke should ever write.  He should never ever write about professional sports.

This whole thread makes me think we should do a column on the Angels woes and other team's shenanigans in a featured blog piece. 

We have some funny motherfackers on this site so I think a collaborative piece or one that has a round of our in-house comedians take turns on a weekly basis, that would be great.

Plaschke at his best in this series he's been doing on a Northern California football team who lost everything in the fires last year.  Great read if you have a few minutes.

I used to love @Adam's Foe Fodder pieces. This doesn't have to be about the Angels opponent, it can be a funny piece about any team or any player, including our own.
