in 4 years you'd only have Cole, Rendon and Trout in your scenario, because I doubt Wheeler gets more than four years and Grandal better not get four years.  I think that would be Ohtani's last year of club control.  Fletcher would be in year 5.  Adell arb 2.  Really it isn't any different than we are now with owing Albert, Upton and Trout.

I think I'd still put those large salary years at the very end so you have a little more payroll room in years 3 and 4 of his contract to add other players when Cole and Trout are more likely to still be at their peak.
