Before he went down, aside from that boston stsrt, he was as dominant a pitcher weve had for years. That splitter is just freaking filthy. Looking forward to seeing it again.

It’s on my list to check on this week. But nothing is really supposed to happen until early November.

Call me crazy, but I think that this is kinda like the time that somebody made a tweet on July 24th 2019, a day on which Ohtani's AVG was actually .300 and he was on pace for 20ish HRs. The tweet also included a video of him throwing absolutely nasty pitches and crushing some baseballs. The tweet was very likely quoted for the embedded video some three months later by @Dochalo.

Then again, I may be wrong. I'll get back to you after I eat a bowl of old Cheerios with sour milk. That may change my outlook.

I hope we don't pay Wheeler like a number 2.  The Astros and Nationals are proving that 3 top starters are needed to make it through the playoffs.  

This winter, three are available, if Strasburg opts out.  Strasburg, Cole, and Bumgarner.  We need two.  

I'm hoping for Cole and Bumgarner.  A rotation with Cole, Bumgarner and Ohtani would match up with anyone.
