Peter Gammons on mlb network radio thinks Maddon will come to Anaheim.

He also thinks Ausmus could end up in San Diego.

For the love of God (and @Chuckster70's sanity) Ausmus needs to stay as far away from San Diego as possible.

When the rumors of Maddon’s possible departure, I remember the speculation was that he’d likely head to LAA while the Cubs would look to Girardi. It’s said Girardi wants more of a playoff-ready club.

That's why I believe Chuck is behind all of this.  Everything is to drive traffic to AW.

You don't make a decision like this in your organization (From the top down i'm assuming) unless you already have a big name manager lined up in... Joe Maddon. MAYBE Girardi could be a serious candidate but all arrows are pointing towards Maddon, as they should. Was Ausmus a scapegoat for a total fucked season and a terrible roster put in place by Eppler? Yes! Should we still look to improve our managerial position despite the feelings of our current below average manger. YES!

I think it’s pretty obvious it won’t be an inexperienced or young guy.

I assume it’s going to be someone you’ve heard of like Maddon or Girardi.

Also, I promise that whoever they hire will do many of the same things you guys complained about with Scioscia and Ausmus.
