Start another winning streak

As upset as I am about the loss tonight, the team was bound to lose.  And, on paper, this game looked like a loss with Greinke on the mound.  But, a quick turn of the page should get us back into the swing of things.  It's really a simple formula: Good pitching = wins.  And CJ kinda sucked tonight.  Who would have thought at this point of the season that our two best starting pitchers would be Jerome Williams and Jason Vargas?

Terrible game. Umpiring sucked like usual.   That is such an annoying stadium. All you hear is clatter the whole time.

Tomorrow is iffy, but I do like our chances on Wed and Thursday. If we can just win 2 out of the next 3 and then pound Houston and the Cubs we will be fine.

Good teams bounce back from bad losses like last night.  Having Blanton on the mound doesn't give me much confidence, but you never know.  Hope for the series win, be satisfied with the split after last night.

Win series, that is all the Angels need to do. This is an awkward series being two and two, at the Latrine and home but winning 3 of 4 is doable if the Angels take tonight's game.

Blanton has to know he is pitching for a spot in the rotation with Weaver and Hanson coming back.  Hopefully that will motivate him enough to pitch well tonight.

Blanton vs. Ryu is most likely going to be ugly.  I'm honestly not even planning on watching it - feels like an 8-1 loss to me.  But the next couple of nights and beyond look very promising.
