Interesting thread to look back on now that Lewis has come up and been outstanding.  I'm really hoping this team calls up Marsh soon and he has a similar impact for us.

In three years Marsh will be the same age as Lewis currently is.  Beyond that they are very different players

Lewis currently has a .737 Babip.  .737.   His K rate is still nearly 40%.   I think it's safe to say Marsh won't have Lewis' power potential, nor will he K 30+% of the time.  He's done really well but given the career .482 babip so far, it's unlikely Lewis keeps this up.

Lewis, Kelenic, and Rodriguez are a really great core of OFers for the Ms.

Lewis' career OPS is only .751, including stops in rookie ball, A+ ball, and AA.     He actually had fallen in the rankings in 2018, as he only put up a .711 OPS between A+ and AA.

His first 3 games are a huge surprise, based on all of that.   But it may just be one of those things.

Can't wait to see Marsh debut up here at some point next season.   He's got an Edmonds vibe to him, talent wise, probably faster though.    Edmonds never exceeded 14 HRs in a minor league season, and yet ended up just a little short of 400 career MLB HRs.

Lewis suffered some ugly knee injuries early on, those kinda hampered his performance and his AA park was notoriously pitcher friendly.  He's better than his minor league numbers show, he's just not as good as the early results.  Still a good bet to have a good career albeit a lot of swing and miss to his game.  He's a better version of Grichuk, one that can actually take a walk.
