Don’t know if he belongs in the hall of fame but I still think it’s crazy that Kenny Lofton didn’t get 5% in his first year of eligibility

Lofton retired too because nobody would give him a contract. He had 2.7 WAR his final season as a part time player.

Bobby Abreu. Especially early on.

The Angels got great value from him when they signed him to a 1-year, 5 mil contract in 2009 and he produced a 3.2 WAR season.

Another player that if he was an average defender would be in the hall of fame. He had -11 war on defense for his career.

Just to clarify, there are no players that are both underrated and have played for the Yankees.

Carlos Delgado was such a beast. .929 career OPS

over 400 career homers. not sure why he hasn't received more attention from hall voters.

i'm baffled why kenny loften isn't anywhere close to getting in. makes no sense to me whatsoever.

Never heard of him but 97 stolen bases is impressive. Career 18 WAR. Hard to believe someone with that speed could be -9 defense war in his career.

His range and speed was crazy and was able to get to lots of balls that were scored as errors and not hits.
