Ooooo! An expert!

Hardly.

Stradling can't seem to figure out that causes of death being made public are necessary for compiling public health data.  We wouldn't otherwise know what causes people to die.  They also make it public for life insurance verification purposes, but hey, we can't force Stradling to listen.

F*ck, just take 3 Advil PMs like the rest of us.

Or say "alexa, play the rainstorm with whale songs mp3". Then watch 80s porn stories on your phone. Not the bushy sex parts. Just the dialogue.

I just disagree. I understand that insurance companies need certain info, and that the police department needs the info, but us the public, nope.  Sure there would be leaks but that’s still better than the invasion of privacy this is by making it all public record.

I just wanted to say that I’m actually pretty happy that tdawg is now our moral compass on AW.

(Plus, he fucked a skinny chick with consent and no money exchanged recently.)

It’s tdawgs time now.

@tdawg87 has been my moral compass for many years now. So far none of the charges against me have stuck! Take that justice system!

I often wonder how many times a day @Jeff Fletcher signs onto the board, looks at a thread like this, and goes "Nope" and goes back to doing respectable journalist things....

We've all tried to get him involved in our shitposting but other than the random snarky comment, he stays far away from it.

He's too professional to meme.

I wonder if some good can come from this all.  Maybe shed some prime time light on how nasty the Fentenyl situation is.  This review of a documentary sounds pretty dire.  Worse than the crack epidemic or the “regular” opioids.  Maybe having someone in the public eye like Tyler can open more eyes than just Billy Joe Bob from Kentucky.   It’s be nice to find a positive though it obviously won’t come close to being worth it all.

Check out this article from USA TODAY:

Ben Westhoff's 'Fentanyl, Inc.' confronts horrible truths about America's opioid epidemic

Id have to disagree, in a big way, that its worse than crack was.

Youre far more likely to OD on Fent than crack, for sure. But until I sew the walking dead, and we go back to handling 2K homicides a year in the big city, nothing will touch the crack era (thank god).

Fentanyl is more dangerous for the user, rock was more dangerous to everyone around the user.

Prince and Tom Petty both died because of it. If their deaths didn't open peoples' eyes, Tyler Skaggs's won't. Perhaps if Tyler unknowingly got a dose of oxy spiked with fentanyl, maybe athletes will become more aware of what they are taking. That's my only hope as far as good coming from this situation.
