Billions of Taxpayer Dollars

Billions of Taxpayer Dollars

  1. 1. If the federal government is going to take billions of dollars from taxpayers, which expensive initiative would be the most beneficial for our society?

    • The border wall
    • Free college
      0
    • Fighting against climate change
    • Medicare for all

You must choose one. Whether Trump gets his border wall approved (again) or the country elects Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren, these billions of taxpayer dollars are going somewhere.

If the federal government is going to spend your money, which project would you feel the best (least worst) about?

Maybe the poll should have been, would you choose billions of dollars for a border wall, hundreds of billions for free college education or trillions for climate change or Medicare. You know, just to be honest about it.

Exactly.  At least the wall is a semi-one time shot.  Free college, climate change, and medicare for all is the gift that will keep on giving year after year after year, constantly increasing.

The wall definitely doesn't need money to be maintained for the rest of all time.

Also, in theory, Medicare for All would save money over time because people would actually be able to afford to go to the doctor.

Yeah, and if they make an appointment the day it goes into effect they are only 7 years from their exam.
