XFL Question

Are we supposed to treat the LA Wildcats as a new franchise, or just a renaming of the LA Extreme? I want to know if we are going into the season as defending Champs, or just 1 of 8 teams. I'll be sitting here hitting refresh until I have my answer.

More important question is: how long does everyone give the XFL this time?

I say one year, outside chance at two years.

Maybe then, Vince will have learned a valuable lesson about trying to put a competing team sports product out there.   Even if they are playing in the spring/summer, they are still the red-headed stepchild of the NFL, and also competing against the NCAA MBB tournament along with MLB, the NBA, and the NHL, and of course spring football in Texas and Florida.   Three of the eight teams just happen to be in those two states.

Heck, even MLS is likely to kick their butts!

Why is that question more important than mine?

Biggest mistake the XFL did was not go international right away.  Should have done 4 teams in the US, 4 teams in Europe.  If you are going to take a chance at this thing, don't copy, go where they aren't.
