USC's 2020 recruiting class took a hit on Sunday as four-star quarterback Bryce Young flipped his commitment to Alabama.

Young originally committed to the Trojans in July. He's the fourth-ranked dual-threat qua rterback in his class and the No. 88 overall prospect in the ESPN 300.

The Santa Ana, Calif., native starred at Mater Dei, a high school powerhouse that has produced Matt Leinart and Matt Barkley, among other NFL players.

Young was the highest-ranked recruit in USC's 2020 class. Clay Helton's squad does not currently have any other commitments ranked in the top 300.

Alabama, meanwhile, has now secured 10 recruits from next year's top 100 prospects. Young could potentially be a big piece of the Crimson Tide's offense as Tua Tagovailoa is expected to declare for the NFL draft.

Oregon has learned how to play defense though, held Stanford to just 6 points.   Only loss was by 6 to current Top 10 Auburn at a neutral site.    Oregon is the likely PAC-12 favorite, at this point?

Auburn just couldn't generate any cohesive offense. Some terrible interceptions thrown that turned the game over to the Gators.

Meanwhile the Nebraska Cornholers are in risk of losing to Northwestern.

And just like that Northwestern throws an interception at mid field with 1 minute remaining.

Nebraska just threw a 30 yard pass putting them on the 17 and field goal range.

Nebraska moves the ball to the 7 yard line and lets the clock run to 3 seconds. Dead center of the field and they freeze the kicker.

This is stupid. Northwestern waited until the end to use all three of their time outs just to freeze the kicker...

And it didn't work, the Cornholers make the field goal and avoid overtime. Too bad, it would have been great if Northwestern was able to best them two years in a row.
