Seriously though, seeing how the kids develop and mature at the ML level watching Adell in SLC, and seeing Trout have a career year and not get an MVP due to us sucking buttermilk.   what else is there at this point?  The front office punted, so i guess i will too.

I think he will win the  MVP despite our record simply because no one else is even close to his STATs this year.

if we are a sub 500 team, i would bet against it.  Frankly im not sure it would even make any sense in that situation.

Stanton won with Miami in 2017 with a 77-85 record...

Trout won in 2016 with an Angel record of 74-88...

I think the voters no longer feel that being a playoff team is the deciding factor. It maybe the tie breaker, like last year with Betts being on the Red Sox, but that's all... I would be willing to bet unless someone really turns it on in the last 2 months that Trout will be the MVP for the third time. He really is the Most Valuable Player...

Perhaps... and im not questioning his value dont misunderstand, but i think a team should be at least competitive or in the mix... i find it hard to justify if i take the emotion out of it personally is all.   It has to be a 100% no brainer number wise for me to go with it.  I agree so far it is, well see where it ends up.

Losing is never fun to watch. I don't care who's developing. I'm looking forward to the season mercifully ending,  Eppler getting fired and a real GM hired to focus on pitching.

Especially with how bad their pitching has been but your reaction is normal. I, however, am used to seeing my teams lose so I try to find something to focus on that makes it enjoyable.
