he has shown a solid arm but otherwise I'm not impressed.  I am less and less inclined to blame the Angel catchers for the atrocious sequencing we've seen this year.  Yes, they might call the pitches, but there seems to be a particular directive from the dugout or FO to call certain pitches in certain counts.  I just don't like it.

(lol.  As I'm writing this, Cole hits the glove with a high fastball on an 0-2 count and Bell leaves the yard).

Oh and I love how I just tuned into the game and Victor Rojas calls out Stassi for his pitch selection that Cole threw down the middle on a two strike count. WTF.

This guy sucks at the plate and behind the dish.

Let’s be fair here.  Stassi was set up outside and Cole did what Cole does, miss his location and instead throw it down the middle to a guy who can’t hit.
