I'm not sure the Angels trade Goodwin.  He won't get you much in return, he is cheap and Calhoun will be gone next season because the Angels aren't going to pick up his option.

Really missing La Stella’s bat right now.. Upton’s terrible offensive numbers in July were brought up enough, so here’s a couple others that really need to get going again:

July:

Simmons : .225 BA / .608 OPS

Rengifo : .239 BA / .685 OPS

It makes sense that the Angels would trade a solid depth OF (the sort they’ve struggled to get for like a decade) that they barely have to pay immediately after getting him.  Probably for some fringe 45 grade pitcher at high A. Extreme Angels shit. 

Then they’ll pick up Kole Calhoun’s 14 million dollar option.  Which also makes the most sense.
