My parents by us passes so we go as often as we can. My daughter really enjoys it so that's all that really matters.

This time last year, passes were $170 cheaper. That's a pretty significant increase in a years time.

I had one for a long time, but didn't renew this year.  But i saw that there was some sort of Iron Man thing going on, so I might want to check it out.  My little sister also still hasn't been to Cars land.

Went down to Anaheim this weekend, all set to re-up our passes but we figured with the heat we would take our 8yo to Soak City instead. Checking it out online, we realized that for a mere $300, we could have Knotts gold passes which gets us a water park AND an amusement park for the rest of the year.

Considering we have done Disneyland to death and the fact that their passes would have cost almost 7X as much, it was a no-brainer. Plus, Soak City features many dripping-wet women in bikinis, which adds to my enjoyment level immensely.

I went to Disneyland alone once.  I dropped someone off in the neighborhood, and had my annual pass, so I went.  Rode Star Tours a few times, ate a turkey leg, then went home.

did disneyland on friday during an impromptu road trip w the lady.

thought it was going to be insane - crowded and blazing hot.

was actually perfect weather for the park, drinking at downtown disney and DCA.

 

off topic we did dinner at Napa Rose at california grand.

big thumbs up for those in the area.

the lamb porter house and filet mignon are fantastic, as were the scallops.

we passed on the $16,000 bottle of wine though. maybe next time.

Went to disney 2 weeks ago for my girlfriends birthday. Got 2 park hoppers at $137 a piece. We were able to get on 5 rides the entie day. We went right to Cars Land as the park opened and only waited 45mins for the ride. It was cool but I could take my jeep out 4x4ing for far less. Overall it was a nice trip but that places is extremely over priced. If it wasnt for all the live entertainment and the new Mad T zone in CA adventure Id never go back. If I ever decide to go again I'm getting the season passes and Ill go anytime I hit an Angels game.

Went to disneyland a couple of years ago.  We got comped in, my wife won the tickets or something.  It was ok but we had to stand in really long lines for rides that lasted only a couple of minutes.  There's no way I would actually pay to go there.

Disneyland usually is packed. Knott's is usually only packed on the weekend. And Knott's packed is like an average Disneyland crowd.

Disneyland doesn't even have fun rides. I'm all about thrill rides, not rides I outgrew when I was 5. Still can't believe I'm coughing up 15 a month for that stupid pass.
