Second Half Journalist Bold Prediction-- Your Thoughts?

Reading on SI about second half predictions from their baseball journalists. No one has the Angels grabbing a wildcard spot except one person and this was also their second half synopsis/bold prediction:

Bold Prediction: The Angels are going to be all-in at the Trade Deadline and go on a second-half tear much like the Athletics did last season. Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani are going to hit 80 home runs this season, and they're going to pull off a stunning trade for either Noah Syndergaard or Zack Wheeler. You want bold? They're going to ship off outfielder Jo Adell (their No. 1 overall prospect per Fangraphs) to the Giants for Madison Bumgarner, Sam Dyson AND backup catcher Stephen Vogt. MAKE IT HAPPEN.

The Angels won't trade Adell, certainly not for Bumgarner. They might consider a young cost-controlled pitching stud like Walker Buehler.

I'd love to see Trout and Ohtani combine for 80 HR, but that would mean 36 more in 69 games. I think a more likely scenario is more like 70-75, so 25-30 more.

Trout has 30 HR in 89 games, that's close to 1 HR every 3 games. At that pace he would have 53 HR at season's end. Ohtani has 14 HR in 55 games that's 1 HR every 4 games. At that pace he will hit 31 HR at the season's end, with the combined grand total of 84 HR. That's if and a big if the continue at the same pace.

Bumgarner is pretty much a salary dump. Adell won't be included in a salary dump trade.  A trade for Bum would probably include Brennan  Lund and Bedrosian.

we're not trading Adell and we're not getting Bumgarner, but it would cost a hell of a lot more to get him than Lund and Bedrosian.

There are going to be several teams bidding for him because of what he's done in the playoffs before.  This is the Giants chance to rebuild their entire system.  They should literally sell everything.
