Crazy enough. Im not on twitter, but when i googled the earthquake, a twitter account had a post like 25 mins before the quake hit predicting a 6.5 quake north of salton sea....

FWIW, i screen grabbed that within maybe 3 mins after the quake, and that warning post was 25 mins before hand.

And it had other warning for it over the last 2 days or so

Heavy damage in Ridgecrest. Some fires too. State of emergency just declared.

Many aftershocks, power out for most of Ridgecrest. Power lines down.

97 degrees outside, many people sitting in their cars with their pets with the A/C on. I would get the hell out of there.

Anyone feel the 5.4 aftershock this morning at 4 am?

I didn't, but I did wake up. Kind of cool to later see the video of a CBS reporter who was preparing a story at that early hour from Ridgecrest outside the mobile home that was destroyed yesterday. There was a definite look of fear in his face. I wonder if he's ever experienced an earthquake before. But he did tell the cameraman to keep rolling the film.

Didn’t feel yesterday’s was on my bike when that one hit. Sitting at home just now definitely felt that one. Kept rolling, got stronger and lasted a while.
