Iranian state TV saying the "Islamic Revolutionary Guard" seized the ship. 

I don't get the strategy here.

It's because the British seized an Iranian tanker first.

Britain has demanded Iran release the tanker and crew, so we'll see what happens. I hope the U.S. stays out of it for now.

I saw a report that Iran is flying its flag on the tanker now, and Revolutionary Guard soldiers were parading the crew members on the deck.

It's almost like they're begging for war. I don't get it.

What's not to get? After near;ly 40 years of isolation and economic sanctions they cut a deal to get relief and Trump reneged. So they went to the 2 other world bullies and got their blessing to agitate with the promise of relief

Iran state media is claiming multiple US casualties. This is obviously bs, because they would have no way on knowing. So hopefully have w this all plays out is, no casualties, and Iran to lies to their people they had some huge retaliation against the US, and tensions do get deescalated
