Another wild pitch today that could have killed them, moving a runner to 3B with 1 out in the 7th and forcing the IF to come in. Buttrey bailed him out.

Last I checked he had the most WP+PB’s in the majors. 

But he he hits well and the pitchers seem to like the way he calls a game.

He does some boneheaded things for sure but overall, he's been worth the contract.

Older ones won't accept the change and will have their own ways. Younger talent with less experience are more likely to be learners of the game so having someone like Lucroy help guide them has been a huge win.

This is one of the two positives to re-signing him to say a two year deal, along with the resurgent offense.

This will be a younger pitching staff for the next 2-3 years, as Canning, Suarez, and Sandoval all get settled in eventually.

But maaaan, his catching pitches off of the plate leaves a LOT to be desired.
