The guy you conveniently left out, Jose Suarez

@mulwin444 my comments come out of frustration are my attempt to make light of that frustration.  The whole "performance based game" thing is now funny to me.  The last time Harvey pitched - Ausmus took him out right after his best inning (was that a performance based decision?). I have no idea what he's actually basing his decision on and therefore, I make light of the ones I don't understand - like last night's decision to pinch hit for Fletcher.

Also - I apologized in advance in one of the threads for the likelihood of me using "performance based game" in all my posts going forward.  In other words - you can't take everything I post seriously.

I also "conveniently" left off Patrick Sandoval as they both only have 2 appearances at AAA.

Also, those starts by Suarez are his only starts this year so it's likely that they are not going to rush him to the MLB until they are sure he's ready.  Not only that, but they will likely limit his innings since he's a rookie so except a lot of 4-5 inning starts.

Maybe it's enough as Canning only got 3 starts but he's been knocked around as well since being promoted.

I think it’s time to skip Cahill for a start or two, either by pen or 10-day, and throw *anyone* on the 40-man up for a change. Barria, Peters, Suarez...

Something’s not right with Cahill, mechanically or healthy-wise. He shouldn’t be this bad, he shouldn’t be surrendering HRs at this rate. It’s unlike him even with regression factored in.

I vote Barria. He doesn’t seem to be doing well with the back and forth or opener. Get him up here for two starts and see how he responds. By time Cahill is due back (maybe Heaney too?) they can look at Canning, Barria, Pena, and Harvey and decide what to do then.

Cahill will be here until Heaney is ready to go.

Harvey until ASB, with us out of the race, Suarez will be called up.

I think he goes to the pen....too much money and he’s had some success in the pen before...
