Trump really isn't anything to be honest as far as "for or against anything." He's an opportunist con man.

Doesn't mean you can't agree with the policies or rhetoric that comes out of his mouth, nothing wrong with that.

Once you understand that, it actually makes perfect sense.

I don’t think Trump has any core idealogical beliefs beyond what can make him more wealthy and more powerful but he clearly loves guys with big mouths who talk tough and his political brand is right wing populism (because that stupid shit serves the above interest).  Bolton fits in perfectly.
