I’ve been watching not posting much.    quick has looked good the last 2 games.    finally caught a game at staples against the rags this week.

I’m in favor of moves that will help the team improve.

going to miss clifford. guy was a rock who got the most out of his talent. lifted the cup twice and had an assist on the gwg that won the cup against the rangers. this is one of my favorite pictures f

What a debut for Vilardi

Scores 10 seconds into his first NHL shift, adds an assist, and won the majority of his faceoffs.   One of many youngsters hopefully helping to lead the Kings back into the SC playoffs down the road

Maybe Quick gets dealt in the off-season?   Only three years will remain on his contract by then.

it's certainly possible, but he's expensive and would be difficult to move.

They could include part of his contract.    Although being owed only $9 million total, he does have a $17.4 million total cap hit for the next three years.

And the beat goes on.

Five straight wins, and 8-2-1 in past 11, after beating the Wild this afternoon 7-3

Hat truck for Brown, all in 3rd period

Goal #2 for Vilardi

Next season is looking intriguing, with this core of good young talent alongside Kopi, Drew, etc.....and add to that Alex Turcotte when he decides to turn pro, a very early first round pick in June, and three 2nd round picks.

beat colorado last night 3-1 for their sixth straight win.

too bad they haven't played like this all year long.

good to see the kids getting time and performing well. the defense has been pretty darn good during this run, as has the goaltending.

perhaps there's a bit of hope for next season (though they definitely need to improve on scoring, their achilles heal).

They've outscored their opponents 19-7 in the 6 game winning streak.   Strong schedule too in those 6 games, five of them vs the Pens, Golden Knights, Leafs, Wild, and Avs

They've averaged just over 3 goals scored/game in the 9-2-1 stretch.   2-0-1 against the very tough Avs in that stretch

Avs playing without Kadri, Rantanan, Makar, Burakovsky, Calvert, Grubauer, and lost MacKinnon in the 2nd period. That's the top 5 scorers on the team and the starting G. The Kings may be winning now but it's almost painful to watch. 5 standing at the blue line. No flow. No speed. Eventually teams will counter it
