Kings won the draft. Drafted 3rd best forward of the draft, a good Swedish Dman, a Big RW that reminds me of a young Corey Perry without the pest qualitys, like him his skating is what held him back in the draft.

I believe Turcotte is better than Dach, i also think Zegras is better than Dach. Fast moving Centers are the future.

Dach is Getzlaf. Big guy who will have a ton of assists. Zegras should be the best of the three offensively but he has to show that he’s willing to do some dirty work

Turcotte should be the better goal scorer of the 3, at least from what i saw of his stats he scored alot of goals per game.

Three days to the start of the season, and the youngsters looked good in the pre-season.

Game one vs. Edmonton. Offense looked good, the defense not so much.

Glad that they’re going to let the kids play. Probably won’t get too far this season but it’ll give them necessary experience and help the Kings to see what they have and what they need.

Wont be surprised to see carter, quick, and Toffoli traded this season.

I don’t think goaltending is the problem, at least not without looking at the overall defense first.

Good point, but I'm thinking more about getting Soup used to being the #1 goalie during a rebuilding season.   Plus, depending on how much they absorb of Quick's contract, they could get another good young prospect or two.

fair enough. i pretty much agree with you. i'm not sure how much quick has left to give. i could see this year and maybe one more, but not beyond that.

played better against a good buffalo team last night, but still can't score and have been shut out AT HOME two games in a row. 

in the post game news conference, maclellan called out kovalchuk (not by name) for not scoring on two very good chances and for making the same mistakes more than once in a game. said something about how "we're paying a lot of money to a guy with 400 career goals" and they expect more from him.

Kings are back to within a game of .500 at 4-5.    Have allowed just 8 goals in the past 4 games (2-2 record).

Kings are playing better again, 3 game winning streak.   Youngsters played heavy role in the win over Vegas.

Kopi is back, on pace for 27 goals and 58 assists.

kovalchuk still having issues. what's with this guy? world class talent but sawdust and water for brains.

I wasn't a big fan of signing him for so much money for too many years, so I'm going to be thrilled when they finally cut ties with him.
