Just ordered an indoor/outdoor practice net for the backyard. Be here in about a week. Even come with a practice mat with three different types of grass to hit off.

$90 well spent. Took about ten minutes to set up and it works great.

Course around the corner is closed but did walk 9 holes with just a seven iron from the tips. It was quite invigorating.

just dinking around, i hit one from ten yards behind the mat, missed the net, and lost the ball in the shubbery behind the setup. discovered i have some very pointed thistle type plants back there.

Walked 9 with a full bag today. Shot well but pretty shaggy since the course is closed. Can't remember last time I have walked with a bag. I can feel it.  Cart's are for pussies.

Disregard my last post. My social distance walk on the course was going great, don't know why these guys want to play the tips and carry your bag. I made it to 15 and dragged my bag in down the cart path by the handle.  My sciatic said no more.  Ordered a push cart.

is your course using raised cups? i've seen these on twitter a couple of times in the last week. had never heard of them before but apparently, in order to prevent the spread of the virus, courses have been putting the cups in the holes so that the top .5" is above the ground, and you hole your shot by simply hitting the raised cup. 

it seems to me like it's the same as having bumpers when you bowl, but whatever. at least you get to be outside and hitting a few.
