If he pitched 180 at 3.00 many teams will want him and the "extension" offer would have to be very close to full free agent retail value for Harvey to accept it.  Otherwise he just goes free agent.

He battled.  Didn't have very good stuff early on but thought he settled well.  One hanging breaking ball away from a great start.

He came very close to having a bad start yesterday. Getting out of the bases loaded jam was crucial ... but that’s baseball. 

I like him so far.  I think he’ll bring intensity and motivation to our pitching staff.
