The Angels haven’t made the postseason since 2014 and there have been questions regarding the future of the Los Angeles Angels, especially in recent weeks with chatter of possible relocation and Bryce Harper’s recruitment of Mike Trout.

After Harper signed a 13-year deal with the Philadelphia Phillies, he made his first attempt to woo Trout to the “City of Brotherly Love.”

With Trout and the Angels nearing agreement on a 10-year extension worth $363 million, the recruiting effort by Harper could be short lived.

Trout was slated to be a free agent after the 2020 season but the reported deal with the Angels would be largest contract in pro sports history.
