THE GAME: The Angels (7-3-1) played to a 6-6 tie with the Chicago White Sox (3-6-1) on Monday afternoon in a nine-inning game played before 3,796 at Camelback Ranch.

HITTING REPORT: Jarrett Parker, who is battling for the fourth outfielder’s job, went 2 for 2 with a two-run home run against Reynaldo Lopez and drew a walk. … He’s batting .545 (6 for 11) with six RBIs, two home runs, and two walks this spring. … Kaleb Cowart hit a grand slam over the White Sox bullpen in right field. … Minor leaguer Leo Rivas tripled. … Jo Adell singled and is hitting .333 (5 for 15).

PITCHING REPORT: Trevor Cahill made the longest start by any Angels pitcher this spring, allowing four hits, walking none and striking out three in 3-2/3 innings. … Right-hander Griffin Canning allowed three hits in 1-1/3 innings, including a home run to White Sox shortstop Laz Rivera. … Ty Buttrey (one inning), Jared Walsh (one), Hansel Robles (two-thirds) and Luis Garcia (two-thirds) did not allow a run in relief of Cahill.
