Trout feels a lot more comfortable in interviews these days.

Jupton was asked about the change in managers from Scioscia to Ausmus. He reminded Plesac he had played for Ausmus in Detroit.

"I'm numb to it."

I'm not sure "numb" is a description that sings of encouragement. LOL

I watched it today.  On paper, “numb” sounds bad.  But it seemed like to me that Upton just meant that he’s already used to an Ausmus run team, and compared to others who were really used to Scioscia, he doesn’t feel any different.   But with that said, the use of “numb” isn’t an overly positive way to describe the new regime.

You might be  right. But the audible shrug with which he said it suggests "either way, it doesn't matter to me,." Or "Six of one, half a dozen of the other." Or "Meh!"

Trout talked about the elephant in the room...Eagles letting Foles become a FA.  Angels system is vastly improved.  A very good vibe in camp with Ausmus taking over.  Upton is “numb” to the switch to Ausmus.  Harvey expects to get back to his old form.  Simmons follows what the coaches tell him unless he feels something is off and he will do things his way. He didn’t mention what side of the ball this was referring to.  I think that is about it.  Not a mention of Pujols that I remember.  Others can add more.

Ya I believe there was only one off reference to Pujols in the entire thing. No discussion at all about him.

Or it could be that after so many teams and so many managers he just does his thing to get ready to play
