Taxes under Trump

$40k more in income this year and I owed 7k more.

Just wrote my yearly check to the IRS for $5k.  Was hoping for less this year but nope...

My wife and I are on pace to make 75k more this year, maybe that puts us into the right bracket to get all the savings passed in the bill.

AOC would like to have a word with you, mr. rockefeller...

Jesus, she is an idiot.

There is a real litmus test going on here.  If someone mentions "refund" only in comparing their tax under the new plan, they are a bona fide idiot.

This is a Trumpian-sized idiotic tweet.

Is she an idiot, or is she a liar?  If this is Trumpian I would argue she's lying.  (Which I think she is.)  But hey, maybe I'm giving her too much credit.

No, she's an idiot.  Or her tweetmaster is an idiot.  And she's an idiot for not checking the tweetmaster's statement.

Trump is a toxic mix of both lying and being a literal imbecile.

I got the 1099 I needed yesterday and finished my taxes last night.

That lack of deductibility of your state taxes is a swift little kick in the pants.

The board magas get a kick out of Trump trolling by calling someone 'Pocahantas' , or writing a letter to Pelosi.   I don't find that stuff interesting, or funny.

Where Trump trolled the libtards was by taking away that state tax deduction from the high state tax states, aka the blue states (CA, NY, etc).  That was some first rate trolling.

A red state looks like it is going to get hit with it as well although I don’t know how much Trumps taxes have to do with it. Article mentions it briefly. Just looks like states didn’t update the laws.

Yeah, if you have a bunch of kids, this is going to be a killer:

What’s more, Utah — a state with the largest average household size in the nation —was hit hard when the tax overhaul got rid of the $4,050 personal exemption, which a tax filer could claim for themselves, their spouse and each child.
