I agree with her about the endless wars, but how the hell do we get out of Afghanistan without the Taliban taking over once again? We're stuck there, acting as glorified security guards and having a few soldiers getting killed every now and then. Drip, drip, drip goes the body count. If we do total war to eradicate the Taliban we kill tons of innocent Afghans. Not to mention it would take a few hundred thousand additional soldiers to do the job. We're stuck.

We're not "stuck there." You just leave. Afghanistan is a lost cause.

Let the Taliban take over, make a deal with them, whatever, but just leave. It's a stupid useless war that should have never been started to begin with.

The first six weeks were okay and we achieved our objective of destroying the terrorist training camps and deposing the Taliban from power. It's the next 18 years that's the problem. Regime change and occupying a country for decades is not prudent.

Disagree, we should have kicked their asses for a few months and then left.  They were one of the driving forces behind 9/11.

No they weren't. Saudi Arabia was the driving force behing 9/11 yet nothing happened to them.
