"sexual abuse of a child under 14" is a penal code term and not just a description of the charge. there are 8 violations in the texas penal code that fall under this charge, none of them are even remotely ok. i can't believe the bail amount, that's a 2500 bond, ridiculous.

i think john is going to be sweating through his baseball cap in a texas prison.

A probable cause affidavit says Wetteland is accused of sexually assaulting a child who was known to him between 2004 and 2006. The child was under the age of 10 and the alleged assault happened three times, the document says.
