Saw doctor. He says just inflammation and blood pooling. May take a couple weeks to go away.

Finally feeling good. Took a couple mile jog today, did some lifting. Still a little swollen but getting better each day. Ibuprofen helps

Is it possible something went wrong for you? I healed faster after I had a tonsillectomy a few years back.
