what if......

Jonathan Lucroy slashed .292/.355/500 with 24hr and 81rbi for a 4.6 fWAR season like he did in 2016

Justin Bour slashed .289/.366/.536 with 25hr and 83rbi like he did in 2017

David Fletcher kept his 4.0 WAR pace from last year and won a gold glove at 2b

Andrelton Simmons had the same year he did the last two years

Zach Cozart slashed .297/.385/.548 like he did in 2017

Justin Upton put up a 5 WAR season like he did in 2017

Mike Trout is Mike Trout

Kole Calhoun slashed .271/.348/.438 like he did in 2016

Shohei Ohtani did exactly what he did last year but for an entire season and put up 5 WAR at DH

Andrew Heaney did what he did last year for 2.8 WAR

Tyler Skaggs elevates his game and puts up a 3.5 era over 180 ip

Matt Harvey finally recovers from TOS and gives us his 2015 (2.71 era in 190 innings and 4.4 WAR)

Trevor Cahill does what he did last year over 180 innings (3.76 era) for 3.5 WAR

Jaime Barria does what he did last year over 180 innings (3.41 era) for 3.0 WAR

Ty Buttrey continues from last year over 60 ip and becomes a dominant closer with a sub 3 era

Cam Bedrosian finally recovers from TOS and is close to the guy he was in 2016

Justin Anderson improved his control and posts a sub 3 era over 60ip

Felix Pena or Nick Tropeano or Parker Bridwell become the 2019 version of what Petit was in 2017

Hansel Robles does what he did last year for us with a sub 3 era but over 60 ip

Taylor Cole does what he did last year for us with a sub 3 era but over 60 ip.

Key Middleton comes back mid season and dominates for 30 innings like he showed prior to his injury (2.04 era)

Noe Ramirez stops allowing as many hrs or gets displaced by David Robertson who gives us an avg season (2.88 era over 60ip)

Luis Rengifo wins the 2b job and puts up a .370 obp from the leadoff spot while stealing 25 bases

Jo Adell comes up mid season and hits 20 hrs after the all-star break

Griffin Canning pulls a Walker Buehler

Jose Suarez pulls a Jaime Barria

Taylor Ward makes an adjustment and becomes Travis Shaw or Justin Turner or Johan Camargo or even Daniel Robertson

Matt Thaiss or Jared Walsh or Jose Rojas come and do something close to their recent minor league numbers.

We all know that most of this won't happen but how about we dream a little?  Outside of Trout, Simmons, and Heaney, pick your favorites or the ones you think are most likely.

If all that happens we win 115 games.

But realistically, for most teams, a successful season is contingent on the number of question marks that get answered favorably. This Angels team is no different. Just a few unexpected contributions - like a big year from Harvey, a return to form by Calhoun, a healthy Skaggs/Cahill - could push this team over the 90 win barrier.

That's why you have to actually play the games.

What if Anna Kendrick knocks on my door with two first class plane tickets to Vegas, a suite at the Ballagio, and wants to spend the weekend together in bed getting room service and watching porn?

Anna Kendrick and Vegas?

did she also buy you a Volvo, clean your bbq, and make you a really good grilled cheese sandwich?

Wait I'm confused, Fletcher (my iPad autocorrects to "felt her") puts up a 4 win season, wins the Gold Glove and is replaced by a Luis Rengifo all in the same season?

no.  they're all what if scenarios that could happen.  Not that all of them will happen.  Plus, it could be Rengifo replacing Cozart.
