I think I still would trade Pujols for Heyward straight up. Even though Heyward is owed a bit more over 4 years paying, you are realistically paying less annually for Heyward which means the Angels could sign someone else to help the club. I don't know if Heyward is still good defensively but if he is then moving Upton to 1st and Heyward to left would help the defense out.

That's like asking where are Dodgers playing bailey.  If Cubs did this it would be to shed payroll

The only way Pujols is moved is if he wants to retire as a Cardinal. Given the money he is owed this is the only scenario that would make sense. Obviously, the sooner the better!

Pujols isn't going anywhere, I don't want him to do anything other than finish his contract (if he can).  As the team has indicated, he will have to fight for playing time from here on out.  I trust that Ausmus and Eppler can manage that.

He has a ten year post retirement contract. He’s going nowhere. No. Chance. Whatsoever. Maybe if he ends up effectively:as a bench player in 2019, he effectively retires (permanent DL, or something), but his contract is going nowhere.

The Angels need to get out from underneath the disaster as soon as they possibly can. Taking a disaster contract like Hayward that is two extra years just extends the pain. 

The team needs to do what's right and DFA him/Ichiro him after the STL series this season.
