They say this is worse than the May 3rd 1999 tornadoes. They thought that was the worse it could ever get. No words can describe what is going on today.

There were reports earlier on CNN of a teacher laying on top of his/her students to prevent them from being sucked up and guard them from flying debris.

I heard that the teacher suffered serious injuries and her survival was questionable.

Yeah that's what came across on CNN is that during this, the teacher looked to be in horrible shape and the news reporter said that they didn't think the teacher would survive. Truly heroic act.

There is nothing a reporter can do or say in moments like these. The public, including those with relatives in that city, want to know the facts. There is just no easy way to ask it.
