I understand where T.L. is coming from.  He's spent his whole life evaluating talent with his eyes.  A new generation comes along telling him he's been evaluating players and even their careers all wrong... I also understand his frustration with the baseball writers.  They have an interest in the game... but many of them may not "know the game" the way he does. 

At the end of the day, T.L. needs to get over himself a bit.  It's a new day.  There's a new way.  That being said - There is definitely a place for both.  BUT.... both sides have to make room for one another.
