I don’t believe any team can afford to have two players with the two largest contracts in the history of the sport, which is what you’re talking about. 

Its not so much about 2019 or 2020 or 2021, but their salaries are going to go up presumably during the term of their contract and the production is going to go down. They are going to be making around $40 million apiece for a long time, not just a 2-3 year overlap.

I don’t believe any team could manage that and expect to be competitive.
