Pitches Seen

First of all, Iannetta was insane seeing 27 pitches, but also important to note Hamilton saw the second most at 20.  He does seem to be doing better lately.  The game against Sale was brutal but other than that he is seeing the ball better.

I don't think Hamilton is getting any better at seeing pitches. His season average is 3.70 P/PA. His April average is 3.70. His May average is 3.71. His average over 5 games before today was 3.63. After Tuesday's game his 5 game average will probably be back to 3.70.

3.70 isn't terrible. It places his about 100th out of 162 qualified hitters. It's actually better than his career average. He's probably not getting any better at that. It would be fine if he actually made decent contact or got a XBH more than once a week.
