What do Eppler and Ausmus see in BadRock anyway?   I see a pitcher who struggles in critical spots.   How is that beneficial to the Halos?

Knowing my homeristic view of Angels prospects, it's likely because Kevin Jepsen was totally better than Mariano.

His numbers paint him to be not as bad as we all seem to think he is.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think he is good AT ALL, but his stats indicate he is a decent guy to have in your pen, as long as he isn't counted on for high leverage.

He is better than a guy like Noe Ramirez or Jim Johnson. That's not saying much, but it's why he's being kept around I guess

Relievers, man. There is a non-zero chance that Bedrosian churns out like 35 innings with an absurdly lucky 1.72 era or something and is an actual trade chip at the deadline. Not likely, but relievers, man. They are unpredictable.

He's basically a one full inning middle reliever who occasionally gets on a streak where he can do a little more. I don't know what that's worth exactly but it's something

90+mph straight as an arrow fastball. 90+mph slider in the dirt with the occasional frisbee thrown in for good measure.

Confidence wise he looks scared everytime he is on the bump. And trying to turn coal into diamonds with his sphincter.

What could go wrong?

Eric Young Jr sucks yet people like him, Cam over the course of a season puts up solid numbers and people hate him.

Solid numbers is debatable. I agree he isn't as bad as we make him out to be. But his numbers are far from solid for me. He's okay, not going to make or break the pen either way

Didn't his fastball velocity drop last season?  For some reason, I seem to remember that.  If I'm correct, the question is whether his fastball will continue to decline or if that is something he can fix?  If it continues to drop, he will only get worse.
